Hampton Roads Artists: Your Next Opportunity Is Bigger Than Music

Wondereum × Music-Performance Sports League are coming together to create new opportunities for Hampton Roads creators.

Something exciting is taking shape in Hampton Roads—and artists have an opportunity to be part of building it.

Wondereum is teaming up with Music-Performance Sports League (MPSL) to help promote the Song vs Song Sports League (SvS) and integrate its games into the Wondereum creative community.

MPSL has been developing its music-competition concept since its first game in 2015. Today, its vision is expanding with the Seven Cities Series, beginning right here in Hampton Roads.

🎶 Why Should Artists Get Involved?

SvS is creating a competitive environment where independent artists can put their music head-to-head in an Open-Genre Format—meaning artists from different musical genres can compete.

The current goal is to bring together 8 or 12 artists for the Seven Cities Series.

But this isn't just about competing.

It's about creating a career pathway, building relationships, gaining exposure, developing your skills, and becoming part of a larger creative ecosystem.

And through Wondereum, participating artists can also become part of a community of creators who are contributing their own talents and expertise to help build this emerging industry.

🏢 Building Something Creative in Hampton Roads

Wondereum is also working toward establishing the first Wondereum Studios in Hampton Roads—a creative space designed to provide creators with access to professional resources and collaborative opportunities.

As part of the long-term vision, artists participating in Song vs Song Sports League could eventually have access to Wondereum Studios for professional recording, potentially for free or at discounted rates. The specific arrangement will be determined as the Studios project gets closer to completion.
